W14....the verdict...!

W14 was the industrie's biggest event this year and gave us the opportunity to 'officially' launch our new edge banding machine to the unsuspecting public.....

The Genisis 512S is a machine capable of applying coil fed materials upto 2mm in thickness, has pre milling a unique trimming station which flush trims and end trims and cormer rounds on thicker tapes, has top and bottom scrapers, solvent spray and buffers.....all available at the introductory offer price of just £12,500 + vat....! The machine was undoubtedly the star of the show and was constantly run and deomstrated for the 4 days of the show with a number of orders placed both during and after the show.

The Briquetting machines always generate a vast amount of interest as they are a quality industrial item built in Italy and have capacities to produce up to 210Kg/hour (depending upon the waste being processed). All the machines are built using quality branded components which include a Siemens PLC and Siemens touch screen interface. All machines are also fitted with a load sensor as standard aloowing the machines to work on an automatic cycle. On display, we had one of the traditional style machines, the E55 along with an example of the heavy duty E60 Super Vertical machine which can process upto 100Kg/hour and is suitable for briquetting MDF dust.

Last but by no means least was the first time showing at a UK exhibition for one of the OMC heated veneer presses. This machine quite simply oozes quality with many customers commenting on what a heavy duty piece of equipment it looked. The machine is built in Italy with the frame being based on a 200 ton machine and only structurally graded steel being used during the construction process. The machine on display had 10 pressing rams the outside ones being able to be switched off when only part loading the machine via the colour touch screen controller. The machine is also fitted with the anti level sensors to protect the bed in the event of incorrect loading.
