Combining over 30 years experience and the personal service of a family run business, Arrow kitchens and Bedrooms offer quality home improvements including the design, planning, manufacture and installation of kitchen and bedroom furniture.

Based in Upton, the company serves customers throughout Wirral, Cheshire and North Wales.

Whether the client is looking for contemporary, classical, modern or traditional style furniture or maybe looking for ideas and advice on the design which would enhance and compliment their property, Arrow pride themselves on offering a 'one stop shop' with a comprehensive range of furniture and accessories to suit all budgets.

In late 2010, the decision was made to invest in new machinery for their adjoining workshop which will offer more flexibility and improved accuracy whilst also allowing total control over the quality and manufacturing process.

Having researched the market and visiting various dealerships, the decision was made to purchase a New Genisis P32 sliding table panel saw and Tecnomax ME15 automatic edge banding machine.

The panel saw will always be one of the most important machines for any furniture manufacturer, as from that initial cut starts a chain of events that ultimately denotes the level of quality and accuracy of the final product.

The Genisis P32 uses the same 3200mm heavy duty sliding table of multi chamber construction and large diameter rollers running on solid hardened and chromed steel runners as found on the ultra heavy duty 'X' series machines and also uses the same cross slide and heavy duty cross cut fence with 2 flip stops in self lubricating bushes to ensure long term accuracy.

The P32 is also equipped with a powerful 7.5 hp motor and can take up to a 400mm diameter main blade for deep cutting. All adjustments on the P32 are carried out manually with the elements being strategically located for ease of access such as the raise, lower and tilt hand wheels being located at the front of the machine and the scorer adjustments being external to the machine.

The parallel overhead safety guard allows the possibility of concealed cuts or grooving making the machine totally flexible in a manufacturing environment.

Both machines were delivered to a set timescale, offloaded and positioned with commissioning taking place once services were in place.
